No matter how much I increased the buffer size of data history even to max of 12 hours, the latest app can only store and display the last one hour. Appa data history is broken.

Totally useless without landscape mode.
One of the most usefull application i have seen, thanks ;) Where can we buy the cable?
The Fingertip Best Pulse Oximeter!!!
Are you supposed to have something that connects to your phone to make this work? Nothing is mentioned in the description. That info seems rather important.
This program will display SpO2 when a compatible cable/sensor is purchased. These are not yet available....
I know its new and the only one if its kind. But its existing technology thats not new. Its bigger than a one-piece unit. Even than one keeps a few records. $250 is too much just for auto data logging.
Very precise and accurate with data, love this app..hope this paves the path for something more bright in the medical world.
Would like to see however some more user profile type of data. (Multiple people?) like ichoice app. Would like to see alarms when set to a low number (ie: 75%)
This app is worth every penny. It misses the mark on every level.
Used this in my aircraft and it works well. The pulse ox itself Id give 5 stars. The app on the other hand needs a little work but should get there. As for the apps features, the history graph page seems useless. You cant navigate around to see the data from my flight later the next day. It just doesnt seem user friendly. It would also be cool if it logged the data with your altitude for reference wether hiking, flying or what ever your doing at high elevation. I e-mailed the data to myself and you can view it that way but its not in a nice graph form and just the data. For trending seeing the graphs would be better especially if altitude was graphed with it.
Works well right off the bat, precise reading and intuitive design.
The APP is priced right but the adaptor is apparently not compatible with the new iPhone 5 and newer IOS devices. This adds the bulk of a $30 dollar adapter. Lame. And the price of this new adaptor? Nearly 10 x the going price of a dedicated device. Not quite ready to spend that. IF it also produced the Hemoglobin value their other products do, it MIGHT be worth a little more but $300? Not enough value added for that….
This device plus the app do what it is billed to do. The ability to acquire cumulative data overnight is especially attractive. The hardware is a bit pricey though, but more reflects the focus of Masimo. It is not a toy. I would wonder why the app doesn’t deliver more from the signals. Why not heart rate variability since it appears to have such a good signal reception? I would hope future additional value from upgrades in the app. I think the sports uses are potential great.
The app works with Masimos cable and sensor sold on amazon, called iSpO2. Finally I get to use the same high grade technology that my doctor relies on and clinicians use in most top hospitals in the US to personally track and measure my heart rate and blood oxygen levels. This is the real deal. Highly recommended
Yes you do need a cable / oximeter device with the app…. well.. its more like the app goes with device not the other way around. I purchased a standalone oximeter on amazon along with the Masimo device to bring with me on a trip to Mt. Everest. As I was intending to climb without altitude medication accuracy was important. Both devices were nearly exact each time used, however I was thankful for the ability to track changes in my pulse/ oxygen levels with the app. Its very clear and easy to use. One improvement would be ability to create multiple users to store individual consecutive entries … as well as the ability to store more data even for one person ( think it caps at 10 days? ) overall pretty awesome, and highly recommended for climbers/ athletes looking to monitor pulse and/ or blood oxygen.
I used the app and device while climbing to Everest Basecamp. This was such a big help. I used it to figure out my oxygen levels and wether I need to slow down, change the way I breath, need a rest, etc. It was a great tool to use in order to learn my optimal climbing speed as well as how to breath correctly. Although the app itself can improve, the device is very easy to use and give quick results.
The Masimo iSpO2 device is the best in class pulse oximeter, as it embodies state-of-the-art oximetry technology found in no other brand of consumer device. The app is another story, and leaves a lot to be desired.mThe company updates the app every 6 months or so. Nearly all of my other apps (173 of them) are updated monthly with new features and bug fixes. Nearly all my apps have been optimized for iOS 8 and iPhone 6, this app is months behind. They are great technicians but have a poor understanding of what customers want.
Exceptional module, great app!
Crashes on startup after update to iOS 8 version. Have lots of unsaved data and do not want to remove the app. Please fix it.
